"Curious Spaces" the art of Meaghan Reed.

Posted April 15, 2014

Please join us on Friday, April 25th, 2014  from 4-8pm, for the opening reception of "Curious Spaces", the Spring show at Hazel Tree Interiors. The featured artist in our Spring show is Meaghan Reed. Her work will be for sale in the gallery from April 25 - June 28, 2014.

Meaghan creates assemblage pieces with interesting twists. She weaves (literally and figuratively) uncommon, and often very delicate, found and created materials in and around her assemblage pieces that she builds within reclaimed wood boxes.

Using techniques like sand-blasting, traditional loom weaving, and shadow play, Meaghan's work is breath-taking. You can get lost for awhile looking into a piece ...there is so much to explore. Come see for yourself!

In addition to Meaghan's work, we will have new assemblage pieces by Bret Hines, as well as other artwork and locally-made furniture, lighting, decor, and gifts from other Hazel Tree artist friends.

We hope to see you on April 25 from 4-8pm!
