Our recent work

First, thanks. Thanks for popping by to explore some of our recent projects. Now, bring on the photos!

What you'll see in the following examples are our unique designs, balanced doses of new, used and repurposed pieces. Quite often, we’re also using local artisans and sustainable materials in the mix. You can find some of the makers and artists that we parter with right here.

What you won't see? A single style. We want your space to reflect the personality of your home, business, or community.

If you would like to schedule an hourly consulting session or explore the possibility of working on your design project together, you can connect with us online with this handy-dandy link here or give us a ring at 330-761-3100.

An historic farmhouse plus modern, whimsy touches

This 1840s farmhouse in Tallmadge, Ohio made for an inspiring canvas for its owners. We chose bold colors and modern accents with a underlying nod to its rich history.

A funky and super fun eat-in kitchen

Our clients in Akron's hip Highland Square neighborhood wanted a fresh take on tile and a colorful place to dine a meal-prep with their friends and family.

Material repurposing, locally-made furnishings, and a nod to the history of the space

The Hazel Tree team designed and furnished the "Trail Stay Suite" at the new Cascade Lofts building along the Towpath Trail. This old tire factory has been converted into state-of-the-art apartments, for true urban green living right at the gateway between downtown Akron and the National Park.

At home(ish) with master works of art

For all of us who’ve dreamed of adding a masterwork to the walls of our home, the Hazel Tree team partnered with the Akron Art Museum to show us how it’s done.
